Superfood spirulina - spotlight on future technology

Microalgae are described as the raw material of the future and are fully in line with the trend of a vitamin- and mineral-rich, vegan diet. There is no question that we are interested in what the Dresden-based start-up PUEVIT GmbH has developed and how we can support the founders in their future projects. The medium-sized company invests in photobioreactors for the cultivation of microalgae. Due to their high light supply, the glass tubes are the more promising option in algae cultivation compared to the normally used wide-area tanks, which also carry high harvesting risks. The EMS 755 electromagnetic sieve vibrator can be used to support experiments in the harvesting process. It will be even more exciting at a later stage when Topas measuring technologies can evaluate i.e., the stage of ripeness. We still remember our beginnings as a TU spin-off more than 30 years ago and are therefore particularly happy to support Saxon ingenuity and pioneering future technologies.
