Fluctuation analysis: New measurement method for aerosols presented
How can highly concentrated aerosols be characterised using single particle light scattering? This challenging question is answered in the current publication "High-concentration measurements with optical aerosol spectrometers by signal fluctuation analysis". Experts from Topas GmbH and Technische UniverstätDresden present a new application of a proved data evaluation method. Well-known Topas technologies for aerosol generation, conditioning and analyses such as SLG 270, RFU 564, LAP 323 or DIL 550 were used for successful validation. The complete open-access article is available in the Journal of Aerosol Science. An overview of publications by Topas employees will soon be available in an exciting new section on our website.
